The Studio

Culinary R&D | Concept Development | Menu Design | Brand & Artist Collaborations.

The Studio is where NOR Table builds before it serves. It’s the rigorous creative process behind every signature NOR Table menu, made available as its own standalone offering for brands, artists, and collaborators who need something that does not yet exist and are serious about the idea of creating it themselves.

At the Studio, everything is conceived methodically, with deep research and constant refinement going into it. Concepts are developed, tested, pulled apart, and rebuilt until they are ready to serve. Our past work includes fully interactive tableside courses, themed multi-course menus built around a single cultural or artistic reference. If the idea is ambitious and the standard is high, The Studio is the right place to start.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of projects does The Studio take on?
Menu concepts, interactive dining formats, brand collaborations, artist partnerships, and one-off culinary projects that require in-depth development before they're ready to serve.
Can The Studio work alongside an existing brand or venue team?
Yes. Most projects are built in close collaboration with the client's own creative or operational team. The Studio works best when there is a clear vision to develop and a team willing to develop it together.
Is The Studio only available to NOR Table clients?
No. The Studio can be commissioned as a standalone service, entirely independent of a full-service event booking. If the project is the right fit, we'll make it work.
How long does a typical Studio project take?
It depends entirely on the scope. A focused menu development project can move quickly. A full brand collaboration or interactive dining concept requires more time to do properly. Reach out with your brief and we’ll give you an honest timeline.
Where is The Studio work developed?
At our kitchen on Advance Rd in Etobicoke, which doubles as NOR Table's primary R&D and development space.
